America, Time is Running Out!
As a Christian, as an American, as a Preacher
of the Gospel of Christ, it saddens me to write a piece such as this
one. Every American can see the dark clouds of God’s vengeance and
wrath that are brewing on the horizon (Ezekiel 16:37-42). It is if
America is standing on the oceans edge looking out at sea at the
dark clouds, the rain, the lightening, and thundering that is
heading right toward the shore of a country that once claimed to be
a God fearing nation. We stand on the shore line crying, getting
angry, seeking Politian’s help, however, no one except the God of
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob can deliver this once great nation. It is
going to take a spiritual revival like this nation has never before
seen to keep God’s wrath at bay. We have become like the Israelites
worshiping idol gods all the daylong (2 Kings 17:11-13). We have put
money, family, job, material possessions, drugs, alcohol, and so
many other idols before God. Even the average Christian does not put
God where he demands to be (Matthew 22:37-38). The “Almighty Dollar”
is about to be useless on the global scale; the Euro is failing.
The housing market is about to burst, people are losing homes daily.
Our federal government is struggling to save the once great banking
industry. The price of food is through the roof because of global
shortages. Our military strength is being weakened because we are being
pulled in a thousand different directions. The signs are not looking
good for our once super power.
As I mentioned before, it is going to take a
spiritual revival and a turning to God for redemption. See the below
scriptures and act upon them. Don’t do them “lip service” but place
them on your heart, learn them. And be a doer of the Word of God.
2 Chronicles
7:14-16 (KJV)
"14If my people,
which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my
face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and
will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15Now mine eyes shall be
open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
16For
now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for
ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.”
